Day 1: Arrival at Delhi
Arrive in Delhi in the evening. After arrival, you will be received and helped to move your luggage from the airport to the hotel by our representative.
Day 2: Delhi City Tour
Full morning city tour of old Delhi. Visit Jama Mosque, Red Fort from outside, Raj Ghat, which is the crematorium of Mahatma Gandhi, a drive around India Gate, President House, Rajpath, government offices, Qutub Minar, and Lotus Temple. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Delhi – Jaipur
Drive to Jaipur early in the morning, on reaching check in at the hotel. Visit the Birla Temple in the evening during prayer rituals. Overnight accommodation at the hotel.
Day 4: Jaipur Excursions
Jaipur excursions will commence in the morning including photo session at Hawa Mahal; the Palace of Winds, Jantar Mantar: the stone observatory and the City Palace Museum housing the authentic collection of the maharajas of Jaipur. In the afternoon proceed to visit Amber Fort. From Amber Fort, you will be riding up the fort by elephant just as the maharajas did and visit the palace of the Kuchchawa rulers.
Day 5: Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra
On day 5 of the trip, start from Jaipur and travel via road to the destination. By covering a distance of 235 kilometers, reach Agra. While moving towards Agra, make a stopover at Fatehpur Sikri, a deserted city of the Mughals, established by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and was their capital for 15 years.
Day 6: Agra-Gwalior
Distance covered today: 120 km. Visit sights in agra city including the red fort that was built by akbar in 1565 up to the time of his grandson who added more to the fort, namely shah jahan. Itmad-ud-daulah was built by nur jahan between 1622-1628, very much like the tomb that she built for her husband, jehangir. Taj mahal was also built by shah jahan in honor of his wife mumtaz mahal. The construction of the taj started in 1631, ending in 1653. After sightseeing in agra city we will move onto gwalior, where we will spend our night at a hotel.
After the morning sightseeing tour of gwalior city, which includes driving to a distance of 120 km’s post breakfast, go on to see the gwalior fort that was called so by the Mughal Emperor Babar. Proceed to orchha where you shall be staying in hotel rooms. Gwalior used to be the capital of Bundela Dynasty while orchha is a small village. The rest of the day is free for your own activities.
Day 8: Orchha – Khajuraho (178 km)
Visit orchha city in the morning. The major attractions in orchha include jehangir mahal, raj mahal, and ram raja temple, dating back to the 17th century. Then drive to khajuraho. On arrival, check into the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 9 : Khajuraho to Varanasi
On the day’s schedule, we’ll reach Khajuraho temple in the morning, which was built by Chandela kings. We will visit Chaunset Yogini Temple, which is dedicated to Goddess Kali. Later, we will visit Mahadev temple and Chitragupta. In the afternoon, we’ll head to the airport to take a flight to Varanasi.
Day 10: Sightseeing in Varanasi
Taking an early morning boat ride in the sacred Ganges River to see the sunrise while Hindus offer their prayers. In the afternoon, sightseeing tour of Varanasi temples, including Bharat Mata Temple, Banaras Hindu University, Vishwanath Temple, Hanuman Temple, and Old City Market. Evening visit to Sarnath, where Buddha delivered his first sermon.
Day 11: Varanasi – Delhi
Post-Breakfast Transfer to Varanasi Airport According to Your Departure Time from Here; Pickup from Delhi Airport and Transfer to Hotel or Next Destination.
