Day 1: Arrive in Delhi
Arrive in New Delhi The guest will be welcomed by the representative from Diwan Travel and taken to hotel. On reaching hotel, the guests will receive a traditional Indian garland with a welcome drink that does not contain alcohol. Stay overnight at hotel
Day 2: Delhi Tour
Morning: Visit Old Delhi. The former capital of Moghul Empire, Old Delhi features numerous monuments, small alleys, and busy markets. Visit the colossal Red Fort constructed in 1648 AD, Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India completed in 1658 AD by Emperor Shah Jahan who is also responsible for the construction of Taj Mahal, and Raj Ghat, the resting place of Mahatma Gandhi. Afternoon tour of New Delhi- Drive through the grandiose government offices of the British era constructed by Lutyens that include India Gate and President’s house. Proceed to visit the spectacular Humayun’s Tomb and its precursor, the renowned Taj Mahal. Conclude your tour with a visit to the soaring tower of Qutab Minar. Night stay at hotel
Day 3: Delhi – Jaipur
Post breakfast journey to Jaipur . On arrival at Jaipur, check in at hotel. After that visit the Birla Mandir or the Laxami Narayan temple. Thereafter visit the Rajasthani Folk Dance Restaurant to have dinner.
Day 4: Jaipur
Breakfast followed by Tour of the magnificent Amber Fort, located atop a ridge on the outskirts of Jaipur City. At the bottom of the hill, you will climb aboard an elephant to make the long yet steady ascent to the fort entrance gate. Post lunch, continue with a Tour of the city Visit to the Pink City – Your tour includes the majestic City Palace, still residence of the Maharaja though some parts of the palace are now open to visitors. Some antiques of the royal family are displayed here, along with their armory. Next stop is the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), and the Jantar Mantar, an observatory containing huge astronomical instruments. You may take a leisurely walk through the vibrant market before returning to your hotel.
Day 5 : Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra
Breakfast at hotel then proceed to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri – travel to the magnificent red sandstone citadel of Fatehpur Sikri. The citadel was erected during the 16th century but was occupied for only a few years after which it became deserted, resulting in the preservation of the structures in almost pristine condition. Proceed to Agra. Arrival in Jaipur and check-in at hotel. We will then visit the Agra Fort, an important monument of the Mughal Empire. Then, we will visit the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world. The mausoleum was constructed by Emperor Shahjahan for his loving wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj is a fusion of Persian and Hindu styles. Witness the setting sun at the Taj Mahal. Then return to hotel.
Day 6: Visiting Agra
We shall take you to the most iconic building of love, Taj Mahal.
Day 7: Agra – Jhansi – Orchha
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to station to board the train for Jhansi. Arrival at Jhansi and drive further to Orchha that is 12 km distant. Further exploration of the Orchha Fort Complex sites will follow. Have lunch at Orchha and proceed further to Khajuraho. Arrive at Khajuraho. Check-in at hotel and freshen up. Evening at leisure or do some walking/shopping.
Day 8: Orcha – Khajuraho
We will have breakfast at the hotel. We will transfer you to the station for a train ride to Jhansi. After arriving at Jhansi, we will head towards Orchha, which is 12 km away. Sightsee Orchha sites inside the fort complex. Have lunch at Orchha. Drive to Khajuraho. Arrive at Khajuraho. Transfer to hotel and take rest. Free evening.
Day 9: Khajuraho – Varanasi
Have breakfast at the hotel. Set out on a sightseeing trip to the FAMOUS KAMA SUTRA TEMPLES OF KHAJURAHO (Eastern or Western). After lunch, move out for the airport and catch your flight to Varanasi. Arrive in Varanasi and be greeted by your representative who will take you to your hotel. Spend your evening exploring Varanasi’s markets. Stay overnight at Varanasi.
Day 10: Varanasi
Tour the mythical city of Varanasi, which is known for its many temples.
Day 11: Varanasi – Delhi
Explore Varanasi. After your visit, you will be taken to Delhi.
