Fatehpur Sikri was established in the 16th century by Emperor Akbar and served as the capital city of the Mughal Empire for about ten years. However, it was left deserted due to unknown reasons. It has a massive mosque called the Jama Masjid. The site features some of the most well-maintained palaces and courtyards and is a World Heritage site and therefore must be visited when in Agra.

You will reach Taj Mahal by 11:30 am. It is among the finest examples of architecture in India and was constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1632-1654 A.D. as a tribute to his wife Mumtaz Mahal.

Post your lunch, you will proceed to Agra Fort that is a UNESCO heritage site. Agra Fort is constructed using red sandstone. This magnificent structure features several structures like Moti Mahal and Musanman Burj. Shah Jahan was considered to have been imprisoned in this place till his death.
